Lodging Accommodations:
Basic but comfortable accommodation is offered in dormitory style cabins and lodges sleeping 6 to 14 to a room in bunk beds. The majority of our cabins are duplex units and all are fully winterized with indoor bathrooms. All cabins have front porches and the newer cabins feature a center “Great Room” for use as a meeting or breakout space. Hillside and Spruce Lodges are also modern dorm style buildings but offer larger capacities holding up to 48 people for groups wanting to be all under one roof. Spruce Lodge is separate from the main campus and has its own large meeting space and service kitchen. Dining/Kitchen Facilities: Our food service offers three delicious meals a day, served buffet style. A salad bar and soup option accompany lunch and dinner, while a cereal bar and fruit selection (as well as hot cereal and hot chocolate on those colder days) is available with breakfast. If your group has special dietary needs please let us know. Evening snacks are available upon request. Religious Facilities: Outdoor Chapel with seating Conference/Meeting Room Facilities: Our two meeting spaces are rustic rooms, with fireplaces, that can comfortably accommodate 40 people. These spaces are heated, have tables, folding chairs and a tv and dvd unit available. Waterfront/Pool Facilities: Our lake is located in the center of camp and is the perfect spot for fishing, boating, canoeing, pond ecology or a nature hike. More About YMCA Camp Ralph S Mason: YMCA Camp Mason is situated on 600 acres of woodland, adjacent to the 64, 000 acre Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, in North Western New Jersey. Our property features miles of trails winding through forests, streams and lakes. There is never a shortage of things to do and our facilities are designed to ensure a comfortable stay. From its founding in 1900 Camp Mason has been providing outdoor opportunities for schools and groups. Every year at the Outdoor Center we host thousands of people, in groups of 25-400, for a range of programs including Conferencing, Outdoor Education, Retreats, Campouts, Team Building, Summer Camp and Family Camps at our ACA accredited site. We would like to be your camp in 2009! To make sure we get it right, we will assign a single professional program director to your group. They will be available to you from your first call to the moment you drive out of camp. We work to ensure that you have the best planning, the best program and the best service. Let us provide the trained staff to lead your group through our high ropes course, in canoeing or on a hike. Try out our Climbing Wall and develop the self esteem of each individual in your group, or our low ropes course to build a sense of unity within your group that will remain with you long after you depart from Camp Mason. Our programs provide a great way for groups and organizations to build community amongst participants. We are also open through the winter – come and join us for cross country skiing, sledding, tubing and fun in the snow. Camp Mason also boasts several indoor meeting spaces perfect for breakout sessions, workshops and activities. No two groups are the same and our flexible program can be tailored to meet your needs. From adjustable meal times to program provision just let us know what you need and we will do our best to accommodate you.
