We offer multiple types of event: Outdoor Education Events, Picnic Style Events, Birthday Parties, Un-Facilitated Space Rentals, and customized packages (for things like weddings).

For Outdoor Education events the entire group is split up into teams of 15 or less participants. Each team has their own schedule for the day. Each team is always with a JCC Staff Member who is facilitating the activity (except for lunch). Any activity can be included (there are restrictions based on age as well as time and group size).

Picnic style events are more free-form then the Outdoor Education Events. All picnic events include a pavilion for eating, access to all bathrooms, access to fields/trails & sports equipment, and on-site manager. These picnic style events are not necessarily exclusive. If you want Camp Centerland exclusively for your event, there is an extra charge. All groups larger than 170 people automatically get exclusive access. Max group size of 240 people. Facilitated Activities can be added.

We also offer High Ropes, teambuilding, nature walks, and food. Please talk to us if you are interested in these so we can put together a custom package that fits your needs.

Un-Facilitated Space Rentals are just for if you need some space. Staff members to assist you are not included in these. Some events will not be eligible for un-staffed facility rentals. We design custom packages for events that are ineligible for an un-staffed facility rental but do not fit into the typical Outdoor Education or Picnic Style Event (such as weddings and b’nai mitzvah). All rentals include access to all bathrooms and to the nature trails.
