Camp Mardela is a Christian camp located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. We are affiliated with the Church of the Brethren and strive to exemplify the Brethren lifestyle of living peacefully, simply, and together. Cost

Our facilities are all available "a la carte" depending on the need of the group. Pricing for meetings for a single day range from $70-$350 from meeting space in our Nature Lodge, Craft House, Retreat Center, Outdoor Pavilion, and Krabill Dining Hall. Overnight accommodations range from $20-$75 per night with overnight spaces ranging from tent sites, RV sites, cabins, dorm rooms, and bed rooms. Krabill Hall is our largest building and can hold up to 250 guests. If all facilities at camp are used, we can sleep a total of 150 guests overnight. We also offer activities such as hay rides, boating, archery, and swimming from $5-$50 an hour.

Lodging Accomodations

Overnight accommodations range from $20-$75 per night with overnight spaces ranging from tent sites, RV sites, cabins, dorm rooms, and bed rooms. If all facilities at camp are used, we can sleep a total of 150 guests overnight.

Dining / Kitchen

Krabill Hall is our largest building and can hold up to 250 guests. It includes tables, chairs, and use of all dishware and appliances. There is also a full commercial kitchen that can be rented in addition the the dining hall space. The Outdoor Pavilion has a smaller residential kitchen, but can still be used for food service for up to 150. The King Retreat Center also has a residential kitchen that can serve up to 40. We do not offer food service, but depending on the time of year and the staff availability, food service can be negotiated if needed.

Religious Facilities

Our entire camp is a religious facility affiliated with the Church of the Brethren. We have an outdoor chapel in the woods, but also our Outdoor Pavilion and Krabill Hall are equipped to host religious services with sound systems, hymnals, music stands, and pulpits.

Waterfront / Pool

Our outdoor pool is actually a swimming pond. It is fed by a natural spring and is very cool and clean in the warm summer months. Our property also borders Watts Creek - a tidal creek that leads to the Chesapeake Bay. We have canoes and kayaks that can be rented and used on the creek. We also allow fishing on the creek and at the fishing pond. We do not provide fishing equipment and we have a catch-and-release fishing policy.

Basketball Court Football Field Mountain Biking Ropes Course We have a large baseball field by the Outdoor Pavilion a basketball court in the main camp area 2 volleyball courts and 3 playground areas with swings slides 4-square gaga ball and carpet pool. We also have archery equipment that must be used with the supervision of a trained instructor.

Internet Access Theatre, Dance, or Music We have internet in Krabill Hall and King Retreat Center that extends to most of the main camp area. We have pianos in most of the main meeting buildings as well as hymnals and song books.
