Our campus has overnight accommodations for up to 116 people in comfortable, hotel style rooms. Our guestrooms feature two double beds, individual temperature control, and private baths. Handicap accessible rooms are available.

Each dwelling has an indoor lounge area with a kitchenette, TV and DVD/VCR. Additionally, each dwelling has a screened porch with rocking chairs and ceiling fans. The Joyce Lodge porches have lovely views of Lake Norman. Free wireless Internet service is available throughout.

Large lakefront dining room with seating up to 150 people. Southern home cooking fare.

Meals are an important part of your stay at the North Carolina Lion’s Camp Dogwood Meeting & Retreat Center. Our food service staff prepares and serves all meals with care and integrity. Our guests rate the meal service "excellent" and acknowledge that good food is a major contributor to the success of their meetings. Our staff serves traditional Southern/Home-style fare, in a self-serve food bar. Our informal lake view dining room enhances the relaxing atmosphere of our campus. Our 24 hour refreshment station is stocked with complimentary coffee, hot tea, and ice water.

Meeting rooms to accommodate 10-150 people. Occupancy depends on required set up.

Our campus has a variety of meeting spaces to accommodate groups from 6 to 150 people. We host group meetings, lectures, seminars, retreats, reunions and much more. The Cates Conference room is equipped with a state of the art audio-visual system for your convenience. Our reference library and computer lab are available for small group sessions and for use by individuals.

Roped off swimming area available. We recommend you bring your own lifeguard. No lifeguard on staff.

The North Carolina Lions’ Meeting & Retreat Center at Camp Dogwood is located on the banks of Lake Norman. Nestled in forest and pastureland, the campus provides an environment rich with creativity, harmony and balance. It is the ideal setting for your group retreat, workshop, seminar, conference, or social event. The relaxing natural environment and amenities provide a setting conducive to both personal and professional growth, creativity and rejuvenation. The Center is a great place to get away from the city to relax, unwind and be inspired.
